Why am I selling this fabulous specimen? After 50+ years of collecting, it’s time to release some ofmy treasures to the mineral collecting world. Over the next weeks and months, Iwill be downsizing my rock and mineral collection. I have mostly collectedcabinet and small cabinet sized minerals although I do have some smaller andlarger specimens as well as fossils. Initially, in the 1970s and 1980s, mycollecting focused on South America, particularly Brazil, mostly pegmatiteminerals, metal ore minerals and many variations of quartz. In the 1990s and2000s, I started adding minerals from the USA, Europe, Africa, India and China.I have focused on minerals that display well … they are in good condition, fitin your hand and are pleasing to the eye.
