Circa 1977 at the height of the Walsh family\'s embarkation into the religious right...my parents high on Jim and Tammy Faye...the Heritage Foundation and they alerted parents to ban their children from shows like Three\'s Company...Soap...Love Boat...Fantasy Island. Well that didn\'t deter this precocious kid...no one stopped me from what I wanted...a trait I think I still carry :). But the likes of Mrs. Roper and her enormous slinky house gowns were paramount to her character...and her character was right up my alley...I think everyone has a Mrs. Roper in their hood...eccentric...floppy wigs...bejeweled large costume jewelry...all to set the scene for her days watching soaps and rolling her eyes at Mr. Roper. Why without Mrs. Roper and our secret relationship...I don\'t know who I\'d be!
This offering is for ONE YARD x 58 inches wide of some of the most interesting nylon synthetic fabric with a designaesthetic that is like MATISSE...I have 6YDS being sold by the yard....a huge fish bowl with fish and a cat peeking through...fruit bowls...pears...flowers...grapes...I mean kiddos...what isn\'t in this fun and unusual motif? A myriad of sensational colors...maybe Mrs. Roper Palm Beach. Bubble gum pink...turquoise blue...purple...cocoa latte...aqua blue... with coral and white accents. The selvedges are original and intact and scalloped. This fabric is slinky as all get out...fluidous...a caftan dream...a red carpet sensation. Do you have high vision on a beer budget?
