I purchased this fountain pen some 18 years ago. It's been in my collection since. At one time, I was trying to collect all of the Montblanc "Patron of Arts" series, but never completed the set. Now it's time to sell some of my collection. This fountain pen would come with its original wood case, box, and brochure/certificate/service instructions. The original outer box and plastic wrap are missing. This fountain pen has never been inked and has no flaws or blemishes. Please study the pictures for best description of the product and condition.

Theplatinised body with guilloched lacquer intarsiasbody is a beautiful shade of reddish/maroon with silver. The engraving on the nib is spectacular. The engraving on the nib includes a sugar cane plant, the numbers 4810, the year 2006, the letters "18K 750", a stylized Montblanc Star logo and the word Montblanc. The 18 carat gold nib is medium and features a really cool retractable feature. The brochure includes the original certificate and the pen's serial number of 4166/4810 is etched on the pen's cap. A beautiful rendition of the Montblanc star is on the top of the pen cap. This pen measures around 5.25 inches when closed.
As a long time fountain pen collector, I'm very careful how I ship pens. I pack them like I'm the one who will be receiving. I use new boxes and quality packaging materials and use the box lock method of taping for security. A collectible fountain pen of this high quality certainly deserves this level of TLC in transport.
