The fountain pen, pencil and ballpoint pen are all Limited Edition No. 3465. This set was originally issued in 1993. The fountain pen is stamped 750 18 K gold medium nib. The fountain pen uses the traditional Mont Blanc piston filling system. A complete set is a rare find as it is 2 separate boxes one box has the fountain pen and pencil, while the other has the ball point pen. Honoring one of the most internationally renowned writers of this past century, as mysterious as the stories and characters she created, this elegant sets instruments are graced with a snake-like clip and serves as a beautiful tribute to the creativityof Agatha Christie. Molded after a Montblanc fountain pen from 1920 (the year in which her first novel was published), the Agatha Christie features Montblanc's precious black resin, stamped 925 sterling silver for the snake clip and genuine rubies for the snake's eyes.
