This Mid 1880’s Wood Log Cabin Style Cabin Home Cigar Box with Paste Down Lithograph on the Inside Lid by Neuman and Dinglinger is in Excellent Condition. The box measures approximately 5-1/2 inches in height x 9 inches across x 4-3/4 inches in depth.
Made in Factory 545 in the 3rd District, New York.Fun fact: Log cabin shaped boxes became popular in the early 1880’s after the laws governing the materials used for cigar boxes were relaxed in 1878, allowing for novelty boxes.In excellent condition with grime, discoloration and scratches consistent with age and use.
