Here we have a very Rare Signature of John McVicar.
These Autographs do not come up very often.
This Autograph is in a mint Copy of his 2005 book ( by Himself).
John McVicar a Career Criminal. Two Years in Borstal when he was 16. On Release went into Arm Robbery got Sentenced to 8 Years in various Prisons. Escaped from Prison had very good contacts in the Gangland Underworld with Joey Pyle whilst on the run attempted armed robbery on a Security van. Once Re - Captured served a total of 23 years got parole in 1978.
He wrote a Autobiography on his release which got turned into a Award Winning Film starring Roger Daltrey of the Who. Then he studied at the University of Leicester and embarked on a career in Journalism. He drank at a pub in Leicester called the Black Cab and would often talk about Prison life the life he lead his Son his dog. He died from a suspected Heart Attack while walking his Dog at 82.
Very interesting individual indeed to everyone who knew John on a Personal Level.
