This is a low grade item. It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.

Volume 1 - 1st printing. Stories by Allen Saunders. Art and cover by Ken Ernst. Reprints of the Mary Worth newspaper strip from 1943. The ultimate busybody, Mary gives advice to friends and neighbors coping with issues such as drug and alcohol abuse, infidelity, and love woes. In this collection, Mary dispenses advice to actress Gypsy and her airman boyfriend after they\'re stranded in a snowstorm. Also, a vintage article with advice for parents on turning their kids into comics artists, by Mary Worth writer Allen Saunders. 72 pages, B&W.
