Manzanita Burl G+ Bowl #15431 made by Smithsonian Artist, David Walsh. It is 5.25\" in diameter and 1.25” high. The bowl is signed, numbered, and includes a signed “CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY.\"

A lifelong woodworker, I first started woodturning in 1998 and quickly gained a following as \"David Walsh, “The Bowlmaker\". I have been making wooden bowls for 22 years and sold over 15,000 signed and numbered bowls ranging in size from miniature at 1.5\" in diameter to enormous at 26\" diameter. My work has won multiple awards and has been featured and sold in galleries throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and many European countries.

My work has been sold at The Renwick Gallery at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington. In 2003, National Public Radio commissioned 50 Bark-Edged American Walnut bowls from a single tree for them to sale at a televised fundraising program for the Arts. The entire process from cutting the tree through the making and finishing of the bowls was filmed and aired on the PBS television channel.
