Mandavy de Mavaleix, or M de M, gorgeous dinner or cabinet plate, 10.5 inches diameter, in superb condition.
In 1904 Leon Mandavy and Paul Maurice de Mavaleix joined the Henri Balleroy factory business called \"de l\'Immobilière\", which the former had opened in 1900.It was located at rue Charpentier 23/25.The company name became Balleroy et Cie. It was located at rue Charpentier 23/25.In 1908 business partners went separate ways. De Mavaleix continued activity at the place alone. Brothers Henri and Antoine Balleroy changed location and started another Balleroy et Cie company. The plate was made in the Limoges region of France by the firm of Mandavy de Mavaleix, owned by Léon Mandavy and Paul Maurice de Mavaleix, in the years 1908 to 1920. They were known in French as a \'Fabricant décorateur,\' both manufacturing and decorating the china, although they did sell their blanks for other artists to paint. This design is very hard to find.
