Hello! These are probably one of a kind or very rare pair of cups, because they are Mado Jolain. This makes them very desirable and wanted and because of their abstract look and amazing colors and amazing glaze, these are mostly collected by serious collectors of expensive pottery. I\'ve only seen these in my whole career because these are extremely hard to find. I want to find them better home where they can sit behind a glass somewhere in controlled climate. To say few words about her the least i can do. This amazing French artist was born she in Paris in 1921 where she also studied ceramics. She was influenced by folk art and artists like Paul Beyer. She started by making tableware and religious sculptures and evolved towards decorative pieces with abstract designs. She passed in 2019.
