From a wonderful old Ohio quilt collection is this spectacular Cockscomb pattern appliqué quilt with Swag Border. It measures 86\'\' by 78\'\' and is entirely hand stitched. The quilt was made by a master quilter. The quilt is dated 1928 on one side of the quilt ( picture # 17 ) , the style of this quilt looks to be from the late 1800\'s. It may be possible the date was added later? The quilt is definitely at least as old as the date stitched into it. You are buying this quilt as 96 year old quilt. There a couple of small stains on the front which I am pointing at in the pictures, Other than that the quilt is in very fine condition, crisp clean and free from odors. The quilt may be in unwashed condition or perhaps possibly washed once. This a fine quilt worthy of most great collections. Please read the condition report and look at all the pictures closely before committing. Lower 48 states only.
