The flags can be seen on the summit in the second photo of the listingas well as related videos.
Standing at 29,029 feet, Mt. Everest is the Earth's highest point and is located in the Mahanlangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas. The first successful climb was achieved by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in 1953. Everest is widely considered one of the deadliest climbs you can attempt with over 300 people perishing on the mountain.
