DESCRIPTION:For sale is this really nice mid-20th century vintage \'KLM\' Royal Dutch Airlines carry-on airline handbag or soft tote sized lithographed fabric bag. It has a few scuffs on its exterior sidewalls but this would be entirely expected with a previously used carry-on airline handbag, now nearly 50-60 years old. Otherwise, it\'s in rather well-preserved overall vintage condition. The interior is fairly clean as well and free of musty odors. The long metal zipper is original to the tote bag and is in working order. The two cloth carrying handles are intact and not frayed or damaged. There\'s also no oxidation on the metal zipper. The exterior fabric is a strong, apparently sized or treated woven cloth that was designed to wear well and resist tearing, rupturing and repulsing stains. The tote bag features the KLM circular round medallion in the center of the bag, surrounded by alternating cobalt and cerulean blue stripes. A terrific and versatile vintage airline tote bag.Great for everyday use as a handbag or reconstituted as your next carry-on. I think right about now, many of us dream of getting away from our shared and unfortunate collective circumstances. Maybe you\'ll be seen on a plane or in an airport somewhere with this strapped over your shoulder? Nice vintage Mod look.
