Description: This Beautiful rare mid 20th century stitch led patchwork fabric from Afghanistan has a wonderful layout with 4 large centered squares in green velvet and pink silk, surrounded by pieces of silk ikat with red and raspberry pieces of fabrics. There is also hand embroidery surrounding the center square framed by the black fabric. There is also a small patchwork border surrounding the whole fabric. Wonderful for framing! See photos for reference. Measurement: 29 inches in Length by 26 inches in Width Condition: Good - there are two pieces in the lower two squares that have opening in the fabrics that need to be re sewn - nothing major.
