WOW. I just obtained a gigantic personal collection of Magic DVDs from a magician who has accumulated them over 2+ decades. And I already had bought a big wholesale close-out of DVDs from my supplier. So, I am up to my knees in DVDs! Literally! I need to find good homes for all the DVD\'s in this collection, so I will be listing them with little or no description.

But check out the photos of the DVD case blurbs, and do a little research online for price and content, and you can get some great deals on these DVDs. I have quickly checked that they load and play, but can\'t take the time to watch them all and give my opinion/review. (If I am familiar with the content or artist, I will say what I can.)

MARK LEVERIDGE\'S MASTER ROUTINES -- (Mark Leveridge)

I am always surprised that Mark Leveridgeis not more widely known among the magic community, because he has put out an impressive amount of practical and commercial effects, both as marketed \"dealer\" items, and also on some excellent DVDs. His knowledge and creativity spans many different magic categories: close-up, mental magic, kidshow, etc.

On this EXCELLENT dvd, he performs and then teaches 12 of his best routines -- they are full performance pieces, well-thought out, and obviously very well-audience tested. Nothing is particularly difficult, but all the routines do require practice as there are basic sleights involved.

Highlights for me are his Wild Dice routine, which uses dice and matchboxes in a sort of combination of the 3-shell game and the cups and balls. His Security Pen routine is a great impromptu item, where you show how coins can be hidden within an ordinary pen (and then extracted back out, of course) I also really liked his jumbo card monte routine, Okito-style coin box routine, and ring & rope routine.

I guess I could keep going, but then everything would be a highlight. Suffice to say, lots of good close-up magic here.

Leveridge\'s performing persona seems a bit \"goofy\" in my opinion, and maybe this is a difference in UK vs. US sense of humor. It may be this sort of silly persona that keeps \"high-brow\" magicians from taking Leveridge\'s work as seriously as they should. Because the routines are excellent, and you do not need to be so goofy when you present it :-)

Retail on this DVD is $30. But I see it for $20 from one very generous (or crazy) seller, so I will price it at that same crazy low price! :-)

USA ADDRESSES First DVD (singles) has postage of $4.15 But if you buy more that one, postage drops significantly on combined shipments. checkout should calculate about $1.30 for each additional single DVD. If you buy a number of DVDs I will refund excess, since shipping cost goes down to about 50 cents per additional DVD after you get 5 or more. Best to put a bunch in your cart, anduse the Request Total from Seller option, I will invoice you at the proper shipping cost.

NON - USA ADDRESSES -- shipping rate for one DVD is as posted. A second DVD pushes the package weight into \"2nd tier\" international postage. However, that 2nd tier postage can cover up to SEVEN DVD\'s in the package for the same rate as two. So if you need me to ship to a non-USA address, and you want more than one DVD, you may want to find seven you like!
