Oh the PILLOWS you could make...OH the frames you could bedeck...Obsessed I was with Marlo Thomas in THAT GIRL...I so wanted to be Anne Marie the aspiring actor moving to NYC...throughout my life I've memorized lines and brought them front and center at the appropriate times at parties...the ones who get it are often immediately part of my cult of love for the likes or Marlo...and this fabric just embodies everything Anne Marie was living in NYC as a young woman...I am sure she would have broken out the sewing machine with her head band and capris...to make some iconic BOHO chic pillows...something captivating that would spin heads of guests...or maybe upholstering a piece of luggage...or a carpet bag of sorts...but to really bring the boys to the yard I'd frame some of this beauteous specimen in a mod contemporary white acrylic frame...that'll really spin heads.
This offering is for ONE unused unwashed remnant of yardage that is still stiff from never being washed...was stored as if in a time capsule...with a design aesthetic and colorwaythat makes this maybe the most unusualpiece of period texturednubbybarkcloth I have...the juxtaposition of varied rich chocolates and thatflorescentbubble gum pink is just WOWZA...theelectric asparagus lime and deep dark lime are just cherries on top that make this remnant a very collectible piece.Accents of cocoa and white bring all the bohemian componentstogether in a way that reaches into my chest andtakes my heart out of a spell to electrify it...oh yes...that hit the spot!Measures 46 inches wide x 79 inches long.
