MAGNIFICIENT 27" TALL VINTAGE HOLLYWOOD REGENCY CRYSTAL CHERUB LAMP Mid Century:

This is a magnificent lamp from the mid century era. It is a large heavy lamp, it stand approximately 27" tall with a cherub dancing on the base, It has a marble insert on the base and a 4 footed brass stand. It is approximately 7" across at the base. There are crystal drops just below the big lead cut crystal glass ball globe . This lamp will accommodate most any watts bulb but I always used 60 watts or less because the crystal globe magnifies the light and throws it across the room, walls and ceiling. If you need a lot of light you could put 100 watts or larger. The pictures don't do it justice, but I took as many from different vantage points as I could. Check them out. My mother bought this lamp in the late 1950's. I've used it for the last 26 years. It is truly beautiful but I'm downsizing and selling a lot of my collectables. I did not take the brass plate off the bottom but I understand from research it was probably made by L & LWMC company. It is in excellent condition. This lamp is very heavy. Note: I do not make money on shipping, but the size and weight of this lamp is what causes the high cost of shipping. It will also have additional insurance and signature required, which is an extra charge. This is why shipping on this item is high. Let me assure you it will be very well packed. Also there is a possibilty that it will have to be packed in 2 boxes. I will notify you if this happens. If you would like to save on shipping you can pick it up. I live 40 miles north of Nashville TN which is an 8 hour drive from 80% of the American Population. You might just want to plan a vacation and come pick it up.
