This is a magnificent George IV rare large Meerschaum Pipe of the Kalmasches shape with full English silver hallmarks for London Maker, John Wakefield 1826.This pipe must be one of the earliest dated Meerschaum pipes I have ever come across.A very rare early dated pipe indeed. It is carved with an English Rose. Owner\'s crest engraved on the silver lid which I have been unable to identify.The height of the pipe including silver mount = 11cms approx.Total length of the pipe including silver mount = 14.5cms approx.Width of the Bowl = 6.3cmsInternal Depth of Bowl = 7cms
