These charming Martial Redon pieces - teapot, tea cup and saucer, sugar bowl and plate make a delightful tea service for just a display. The tea set was left to me by family friends, a lovely elderly couple who lived in New York and bought the pieces around 1915 from Higgins & Seiter, importers of fine French porcelain.
With a delicate pink, yellow and blue floral pattern and exquisite gold detailing, the hand-painted set is an outstanding example of Limoges porcelain. The set is in pristine condition, with no chips or other flaws.
