Lifesaving Merit Badge- Type K, has a blue \"BSA\" with red \"2010\" date slogan backing and wasissued for only a few years between 2010 - 2012 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of scouting. Produced only a few years It could be one of the rarest of all types in the future. This merit badge beganin1911 with the round ring buoy design, as it remains today.
