On offer is this rare, limited edition Aynsley \'Jubilee Vase\' - (loving cup & cover) - issued tocommemorate the silver jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 1977.Green ground with a hand painted scene of Buckingham House, signed \'Woodhouse\' (lower left, see photo 6 & 16) on the front, the coronation and silver jubilee dates of 1952 and 1977 on the handles. A list of prior UK monarchs on the rear. The cover has a crown finial with gilt scroll work.Comes with original certificate of authenticity which states that this is piece number 65 of 100.A large and imposing piece - height of 31.5cm to the top of the crown finial. Diameter at the top 18.7cm. Spans approx 26.5cm handle to handle. Raw unpackaged weight of 1.843kg, will be over 2kg safely posted.In good/very good condition. No chips, cracks or crazing.
