While at an estate sale, I approached a shelf that had several plain, non-descript vases. As I started to walk away, I noticed a gleaming item in the back, half hidden by the taller vases. I eased the bud vase to the front and discovered it was a lead crystal vase. When I turned it, there was the Lenox sticker on the front. Sometimes when you look closely among all the clutter at a sale, there could be a gem waiting. I washed and polished this vase which had been in storage and the lead crystal gleamed with all the luster of fine lead crystal. Czech Republic makes some of the finest crystal in the world.
