For your consideration, fabulous early Lenox Demitasse Cup with sterling silver overlay over cobalt blue with a flared base.

3" Tall
Two ounce liquid capacity

Features the Lenox backstamp that was in use from 1906 to 1930 and experience would lead me toward the earlier date.
Beautiful example of turn-of-the-century artisan handiwork, the decoration is on all sides as well as the rim and base. A graceful design with flowing foliate and floral design. The sterling is lovely, very fluid and without restoration. There are a few spots where the silver is nicked around the top rim.
