This is a vintage \"Liggett\'s Chocolates\" Box distributed by the United Candy Company based in St. Louis, MO. Originally held 1 lb. of candy. The graphics are bright, depicting two knights in full armor, on horses also decked out in armor. Even the sides of the box are very well decorated. The United Candy Company originated in approx. 1902, and was later owned by the actor Vincent Price\'s father. The actor said they grew up eating lots of candy! The factory building in St. Louis has been named to the National Register of Historic Places. The box measures 8 3/4\" by 4 & 1/4\" and is about 2\" deep. I see wear on all sides, as seen in photos. Corners are strong, inside is clean but one name is written in ink. Please see all the photos! *Free shipping in the USA*
