The 8-pointed star quilt block is also known as the LeMoyne Star. This hand-stitched quilt measures 68 in x 75 in. The quilt is displayed on a king-size bed. Various fabrics were used to make this quilt - stripes, floral, patterns, and solids. The quilt\'s colors are vibrant and the white negative space is clean and crisp. The handmade quadrangles (y-seams) are impressive for the time.
