- Brown vulcanite oxidation removed (if vulcanite)

- Polished & carnauba waxed

- Tenon / Mortise fits corrected and beeswaxed

- Airways / funnel reamed and cleaned

- Stem slot funnel (v-cut) improved or added (for optimal smoke dispersion)

- Significant teeth marks / impressions removed / rebuilt

- Bowl pits may be filled with food grade gypsum (plaster of paris) the kind used with corn cob pipes (gypsum can be easily removed and identified due to its bright white color in the case a buyer wants to inspect the depth of a pit.

I cut and fixed the blue german ebonite mortise and precise tenon for this pipe. So the fit is as precise and the airway engineering. :) The stem is also one of my best so far. I’m quite proud of this work, and deciding to sell this pipe didn’t come easy. This meer is quite large and quite unsmoked. The bowl is deep, and this kind of estate doesn’t come by often for me. My guess is the stem broke very early in its career. The bowl is in such pristine and uncolored state, and the obviously block meer material looks ready to soak up a great deal of moisture.
