PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: This large amber specimen is froma mineral collection of a late relative's estate. It measures approximately 4 1/4" long by 2 3/4" high by 2 1/4" deep. It weighs approximately 4.8 oz, or 135 Grams. I do not know where it is from, also I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT AMBER, and so I have taken extensive pictures. What you see is what you get! From reading other listings on , I would say it is a clear butterscotch or honey color, with smooth and rough surfaces, and has "crazing, or crizzling". I have tried to accuratlely describe this beautiful piece and price it reasonably. In fact I have been told that it could be worth much more than I am asking, or worth less. In any case this is sold "AS IS", and I cannot accept any returns.The intricate patterns and colors will make it a unique addition to any collection of crystals, mineral specimens, rocks, and fossils.
