Lightly used Lamy 2000. Well cared for, with clean frosted ink windows. The piston filling system works smoothly, and the cap secures with a crisp “CLICK”. Please review photos for added clarification of the pen’s condition.

Constructed of durable Makrolon polycarbonate, more heat and impact-resistant that conventional plastics. The brushed finish, from the stainless steel hood/section, blends smoothly into the Makrolon barrel and gives a soothing feel in the hand - neiher cold, nor harsh. The brush-textured stainless steel clip is taught and strong, able to grip pockets snugly.

The pen's polished semi-hooded rhodium-plated 14K gold nib offers a dramatic contrast to the brushed components, resulting in a sleek mid-century modern look. Lamy’s engineers made sure ink won’t easily dry in the nib by recessing it into the stainless steel hood/section.

The built-in piston filling system is buttery smooth to use, and holds over 1 ml of ink! More than disposable cartridges. The advantage of an internal piston filling system is that you have hundreds of fountain pen ink colors from which to choose. The frosted ink windows let you easily see when the ink level is getting low.
