LOVELY c1888 ANTIQUE H&Co HAVILAND LIMOGES 8.5in CABINET PLATE; RED GERANIUMS:

Maker: On the reverse of this beautiful Limoges cabinet plate is the green backstamp number 11 of H&Co, the company that became the iconic Limoges firm Haviland & Co. An elaborate magenta mark also appears, probably a retailer\'s or decorator\'s mark.
Age: The H&Co mark was in use between 1888 and 1896. Source: Third edition of the Collector\'s Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain by Mary Frank Gaston.
Design: With a lovely display of finely painted red geraniums and yellow and green leaves, the plate would make an elegant statement in any setting.
Condition: It is in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, stains, discoloration, repairs or crazing.
Size: The plate is 8 1/2 inches wide and weighs 11.9 ounces.
