Traditional ethnic decor for the yurt made at home as part of the daily routine. Could take up to a year.Cotton fabric is divided into sections and embroidered with images of flowers, plants, ram's horns. The patterns usually are arranged to mirror one another, no blank spaces.The bottom is left unfinished since it hangs behind the bed and goes unseen.Several women could work on one piece, if older women were loosing their sight, their daughters could step in.This tuskiiz measures: 80" x 49" (203 cm x 124 cm). It still smells the yurt and horses.Absolutely authentic from Kazakhstan, gorgeous and unique. Not many of them left in the world.Heavy, no synthetics.
