Native American Zuni Pueblo Fetish Carving

ANIMAL: Zuni Water Serpent (Kolowisi)
The Kolowisi is a benevolent water spirit and is the guardian of water sources in and around lakes and streams of the Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico.
ARTIST: Edna Leki (d), (unsigned)
MATERIAL: Antler
EYES:  tiny drilled holes
BUNDLE:  Brown Feathers with nicely carved stone arrowhead and turquoise and red coral beads.  Tied on with sinew.

SIZE: (Approximate)
Length (including feathers): 8&3/4"
Length of just the antler carving: 6&3/4"
Height: 1' to 1&1/4"
Width: 1"

CONDITION:  Very Nice, Pre-owned.  Feathers are old and a little bit scruffy but in good condition.  The orangish red display stones are  not included.
