An incredible rarity from the Age of the Sun King:24 pages marriage contract of King Louis XIV barber and valet Rene LeBlanc.This document provides a historic glimpse into the life of the Royal Court, possessinga multitude of autographs, including of the King Louis XIV himself.Thegreat French monarchs on occasion signed as witnesses on marriage contracts forpeople close to them. This was a great honor and usually symbolic of yourimportance to the King. Along with newlyweds Rene Leblanc and Elizabeth Lefebvre autographs, certificate contains the signatures of almost the entire Royal Court including many celebrities. Manuscript was signed in the monarch's residencein Paris and confirmed byFrancois Ogier and Pierre Garythe notary guardians of the King. The title page brief transcription will be provided to therespectfulitem buyer.
