This is a beautifulhandmade vintage needlepoint – framed and ready to hang.
There are men and womenpraying in Jerusalem at the Wailing or Western Wall.
Every stitch is doneperfectly with nothing out of place.
Initialed SM 75.
Framed in a simple woodframe which suits the hand made piece quite well. The frame color picks up the“wall” color with a little bit of “antiquing”. See photos.
The frame measures 12-3/8inches x 9-1/4 inches. The needlepoint measures 10-1/2 inches x 7-1/2 inches.
Very nice age-relatedcondition. No holes or tears. The frame has several nicks or scuffs.
