De wereldreis van Rik en Klaartje is a Dutch language, 48-page hardcover album with text by Dutch underground comic artist Willem and art by Joost Swarte (De Harmonie, 1982). It is a graphic novel, but more in the form of an illustrated text - every page is 1/2 text and 1/2 a beautiful illustration by Swarte. Well worth it for the Swarte art even if you don\'t speak Dutch.
Plano is an art book featuring a number of Swarte illustrations, mostly in full color. This is the French edition published by Futuropolis (1988). The introduction and explanatory text are in French, but the majority of the book consists of Swarte\'s images, which are in the universal language of beautiful art.
The books are in very good condition. De wereldreis van Rik en Klaartje has slightly bumped corners but otherwise looks great. Plano has some scuffs/dirt rubbing on the cover and some bumped corners/edges. The insiders of both books are clean.
