One of the very cool things about this Legend of Sleepy Hollow Stamp First Day of Issue and Envelope signed by John Carpenter is the Pumpkin imagery. Seeing that John Carpenter Directed and created the amazing musical score for the original Halloween in 1978 -- one of the most iconic Horror films ever made which focuses in on a glowing pumpkin as the movie begins -- the image of the pumpkin and sense of Halloween gives this collectible a somewhat fun and subtle connection to John Carpenter\'s film.This vintage Item is Postmarked: October 10, 1974
