Up for sale is an extremely rare Jim Merritt/Vicki Basch makers One-Of-A-kind stag boot knife engraved by Bruce Shaw. The 154-cpm hand stain finish blade measures 5-7/8”, Jim Merritt’s marker Long Beach logo on one side and Vicki Basch logo on the other side. Vicki Basch designed the knife who was married to the later Paul Basch that worked together designing and making custom knives. Jim made the knife. Overall length 9-1/2”. Full tapered tang construction. Stainless steel bolsters engraved of a deer and Bobcat by famous artist: Bruce Shaw. Side of bolster has B. Shaw engraved very hard to see in photos due to the fine small name engraving. Stunning stag/antler scales with four stainless pins, lanyard hole. Comes with its original high quality leather sheath in mint unused condition. A rare find that was in Jim’s personal collection, made just before working for R.W. Loveless in Riverside, California. Comes with shop business card.
