The Airbus A380 is a wide-bodied, two deck aircraft manufactured by Airbus Industries. It is the world's largest passenger airliner. The aircraft's first flight was on 27 April, 2005. It was first delivered to Singapore Airlines on 15 October, 2007. It has a typical seating capacity of 525, though it is certified for up to 853 passengers. Emirates Airlines is the A380's largest customer with 118 aircraft delivered.
Braniff International Airways operated from 1948 to 1965. Then it operated as Braniff International until its closure in 1982. In 1983, former Braniff pilots, flight attendants, mechanics and other personnel formed Sun Country Airlines headquartered at the Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota International Airport. Sun Country continues to provide passenger service today.
This beautiful 1:400 scale Jet-X diecast reproduction of the Braniff International Airlines Airbus A380-800 is a highly detailed model, that requires no assembly, and comes with a display stand. The approximate dimensions are 7.00" long with a 7.75" wingspan. This model has never been out of the box except for photographing purposes to better show the quality and detail. All sales are final. NOTE: Although this highly detailed model is shown in Braniff colors, Braniff never had Airbus A-380's in their fleet. This is simply a fine representation of what the A-380 would look like in Braniff colors. This is the only one available.
