The Jerry Ford Invitational was a celebrity pro-am golf tournament hosted by the former 38th American President, Gerald R. Ford. It was played at his eponymous golf course in Vail, Colorado from 1997 to 1996 - Jack Nicklaus won it that first year, in 1977.
This is a glass commemorative tray/dish from that era. The unbranded glass piece looks to be painted on both sides. The back is a solid cream color outlined with a blue stripe. The front displays three graphic images in red, white and blue against a cream background, also outlined with a blue stripe. The three graphics are \"Jerry Ford invitational golf tournament\", in the upper left corner with Jerry\'s profile in red, circled in blue, then a center graphic of the course layout of his Vail golf club, and finally, the iconic Vail logo at the bottom right of the piece.
