Gorgeous turquoise / sterling ring with oval center stone surrounded on each side by three oval smaller stones and four split prongs. It is hallmarked by Jeanette Dale, however, the hallmark is somewhat faint / not complete. Please refer to photos. It is approximately size 6 1/2 (slightly under) and weighs 9.5 grams. The face of the ring is approximately 5/8\" (N -> S).We purchased this ring NEW vintage condition for our gallery inventory in the 1995 and it has never been worn.
Jeanette Dale is a celebrated, award winning Navajo/Red House Clan artist who has been making jewelry for over 40 years. She learned from her mother, Juanita Begay Joe and developed her own recognizable style incorporating her amazing talent with the highest quality materials and stones. Her pieces are most often of the traditional Navajo style with deep stamping and high polish. On the advice of a former mentor, she leaves \"some mark, a saw mark or something to show that the jewelry was handmade. So I always leave something\". Born in 1949 in Shiprock, New Mexico, she is mother to five and recipient of several top honors and awards.
