Lovely couple identified as "Rev. & Mrs. R. C. Jahn 1943" on the front and reverse. Richard C. Jahn, a Lutheran minister, was born 23 January 1895 in Nebraska, the son of Rev. Konrad Jahn(1858 - 1916) and Freda C. Going(1866 - 1959). He married Martha "Billie" W. Palmer, born 13 July 1896 in Illinois, the daughter of John G. Pallmer (1871 - 1924) and Johanna "Janna" F. Meyer (1875 - 1950).Martha passed away 20 March 1975 in Chattanooga, Hamilton, Tennessee and Richard followed in April 1977. Martha rests in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The Rev. is quite likely with her, but I can find no confirmation.
The photo measures 4 x 5inches and is in good condition for its age.There is old cellophane tape on the corners and edges from where it was probably mounted in a scrapbook.
