This listing is for astrikingcollectorplate entitled \"Jacob and the Angel\" which is the Second Issuein \"The Treasures of the Dore Bible\" series of collector plates, sculpted by hand from Gustave Dore\'s celebrated etchings for the Holy Bible, which were first pulled in 1865. Each plate in this series was hand-cast in fused bronze and hand-finished under the Hallmark of Rhodes Studios in an edition confined to 150 day. Diameter is approximately 8 1/4-inches. This plate is in very good condition with any imperfections being minor.
There is a Bible verse on the back of the plate: And Jacob was left alone, and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. Genesis 32:24
