This vintage calculator and notebook were made by the Air Force and developed by the Vulnerability Reduction Branch and Reliability Branch of the Rome Air development Center at Griffiss Air Force Base, New York. According to the calculator it helps to calculate the interference margin and the power density and field strength. Copyright 1965 for the calculator.

According to the abstract,:

\"In the areas of interference prediction and analysis, the notebook discusses the overall interference analysis process developed for RADC, identifies the specific interference characteristics that must be specified for transmitters, receivers, antennas, and propagation. It presents the general mathematical models that are used to describe these various characteristics in a form that may serve as input functions for the analysis process. And it provides a collection of specific techniques that may be used to evaluate the general models for specific equipment or propagation conditions.\"

This book is from 1966 and is in very good condition for his age. There is minor wear on the cover. The pages are slowly yellow. The owner wrote his name on the inside front cover. There\'s a few spots on the page edges. Please see pictures for details of condition.

The former owner was an electrical engineer who specialized in microwave and radar communication and avoidance in aircraft. He kept all of his books from his high school years through his entire career. This is one of his books. His name is written on the inside cover.
