Old World Christmas ornament depicting the Ghost of Christmas Present from A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. This hand-blown glass ornament was made in Germany by the Inge-glas family workshop and shows the Ghost of Christmas Present, a Father Christmas or Santa Claus type figure with a long white beard, wearing a red robe and a crown of holly, and holding a burning torch to illuminate Scrooge\'s life to him. The Ghost is one of three spirits that appear to miser Ebenezer Scrooge to offer him a chance of redemption. He advocates generosity and goodwill to all. This large ornament measures 6.5\" long and 3\" wide. This ornament is brand new with no box. It comes with Old World Christmas\'s trademarked star cap.
