This vintage Indiana Roof Ballroom miniature replica display/diorama is handmade. It’s a unique, one of a kind display piece and a tiny piece of history. There’s a hole in the back for a small bulb to be inserted to light up the stage, almost like a spotlight on the real stage. It appears to be a concept piece or made to advertise the ballroom as a display piece. The model shows signs of wear commensurate with age and there are some cracks, chips, and places where the paint/wood has broken off on the outside. Please reference the photos. The replica measures approximately 7” tall x 7.75” wide in the front while the roof slopes to 4.25” tall in the back, and it is just under 6” deep.

The Indiana Roof Ballroom is a historic location in Indianapolis, Indiana that was built in 1927. As you look at the ballroom and the light emanating from the stage, imagine all the great performers that have graced that historic stage and the prestigious guests that have been entertained by them.
