This intaglio depicts a goddess from astrology past. In the last photo you’ll see an impression made by a slightly older intaglio depicting similar images. What is a cornucopia in one becomes a lion. They are likely Nana, Anahita of Persian origins. Through time and cultural admixture these could have become Ishtar, Athena… but these echo to a time earlier, a past we all share.

This is in great condition and it clearly was not used to any degree as it has its original polish. I have other from this era 200ad-600ad that are gorgeous and not in half as good condition. This would be amazing in an necklace
