Here's a rare stamped (empty) envelope that has 2 different stamp marks issued by the State of Israel interim Govt. The dates of the stamps are from Feb 20, 21, 1949 with Tel Aviv postmarks. The envelope was sent by the Israeli Ministry of Welfare by registered mail to Jerusalem.In addition to the postmarks there's a rare blue label or sicker stating: " STATE OF ISRAEL - THE INTERIM GOVERNMENT". The interim govt only lasted till March 1949 so this was just about a couple of weeks before this historic period. RARE!
