C. 1890s original trade card for Soapine French Laundry Soap-Kendall Mfg. Co. Providence, Rhode Island. Gorgeous image of the Soapine Whale in the ocean. Image by Donaldson Brothers, NY. Size: Approximately 4 5/8\" x 6.\" Condition: Good condition - some light creases and small hole on lower right corner just above word \"Presents\", paper residue on back side likely adhered to scrapbook at one time.This has been a Victorian Images cover card and is one of the most famous and rare 19th century American trade cards. Little needs to be said about the \"Killer\" image, colors bright and sharp. Scarce.
