Right side up, upside down, this psychedelic creation mayhave a pair of birds amongst its swirling designs. Very large and in great condition, this is one of the best mola panels I\'ve found. It was once mounted on matboard so the margins/borders are curled under and need ironing. This was cleanly done - no glue or tape was used and the hemming did no damage. Completely hand sewn except one run of machine stitching along one side, probably done to prevent raveling. I\'d really like to keep this one but I have to sell the whole collection. If I remember correctly it was part of a quilt found in Maine. Perfectly balanced and symmetrical, it is the very wanted exceptional example of Kuna artisanry. About 15x18. Framed and hung, it will make a fantastic wall piece. U.S. buyers please. [Boston Primitive]
