Truly one of a kind original hurricane lamp. Beautiful blue glass base with working oil lamp wick and glass center. This is a real vintage lamp. I know it’s as old as me at least 40 years old. We’ve had it that long. Old fashioned lamp. Great piece! Base and center in sections. These type of lamps are glued together at base for safety. What you’re seeing in the picture is the base that at one time had been glued together for safety and sturdiness! I believe they recommend to glue them !These lamps are designed this way so you can pick lamp up and take it with you without the base attached! Can be glued back together for safety if you want! I recommend it! For safe shipping I chose to pull apart! That’s the new owners choice. It is not broken! You just need to clean old glue off and put fresh glass glue on it. No issues! God bless.
