This group of 5 early albums are a great find!! Dug out of an early estate here in Ocala Florida, they appear to be All from same area & families. I’d say Hummelstown & Harrisburg Pennsylvania lead the pack with a few I saw with Lancaster on them. The albums themselves are in rough condition. But the Cabinet cards, all sizes and tin types are in I’d say 95% excellent condition. I was going to list each book individually but thought they should all be kept together. There are actual names of many written in here including but not all; William Wilkerson Reed (See the Google search I found on him in pics), Samuel Miller Keough, and the Walker family. I’m in hopes there are still family members out there who see this listing. All I believe are from or maybe some just after the Civil War. Also what I noticed with this fabulous lot are some with early stamps on them. Those stamps alone also have value. I counted total number of cabinet cards & tintypes. There are approx 225 Total cards with 7 tintypes included in that number. There’s a ton of history here from a relatively small area from Hummelstown to Harrisburg. You just don’t come across this many albums at once with the same few families. Unfortunately I’m limited as to how many pics I could put on. There’s so many more I wanted to show. There’s babies to actual civil war soldiers in uniform, and everything in between. Please ask any questions you may have. I will not split up and sell albums individually. This lot should stay together. I have no idea actual value of this lot so pricing what I think is fair but am also open to fair offers.
